The musical was created by Anthony Drewe (lyrics) and George Stiles (music) and is an adaptation of the story of The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen.

The show ran for eight performances on the last weekend of February and the first weekend of March 2011. It was performed in Henrietta Barnett School Theatre.
