The Misanthrope
It was great to be back on stage with Garden Suburb Theatre peeps, in April, and to perform Upstairs at the Gatehouse for the second time.
The Misanthrope was translated and adapted by Martin Crimp (written in modern verse), and is based on Le Misanthrope by Molière.
Nina Meinzer’s direction was fun and engaging to work with, and the production was very enjoyable to be a part of. The all round team – cast and crew – were great.
A Noda report stated “Ömer Warman gave a good account of the somewhat hapless Covington. His hesitant delivery of the thin script that the character had been working on for the past year was very funny”
